Die meisten in Deutschland ausgelieferten CB 650 hatten 50 PS damit sie die seinerzeitige Versicherungsklasse aussch\u00f6pften. Die Fahrleistungen des Motorrads waren dann auch promt das Verkaufshinderniss. Eine CB 550 war mit gleicher Leistung genauso schnell aber handlicher.
